Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Playlist

When listening to soundtracks, I frequently like to listen to the tracks chronologically (i.e. in the order they were used in the film). So I thought I’d share that playlist-like order for “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2: Awesome Mix Vol. 2“. I’ve also tried to provide spoiler-free alternate titles for the scenes that go with song. Enjoy! “Brandy You’re a Fine Girl” – Looking Glass Prologue “Mr. Blue Sky” – Electric Light Orchestra Defending the batteries “Lake Shore Drive” – Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah Leaving the Sovereign “The Chain” – Fleetwood Mac Leaving with Ego “Southern Nights” – Glen Campbell Rocket on the prowl “My Sweet Lord” – George Harrison Ego’s planet “Come a Little Bit Closer” – Jay and the Americans Yondu’s escape “Bring it On Home to Me” – Sam Cooke This unspoken thing between us “Brandy You’re a Fine Girl” (Reprise) Ego consoles Peter “Wham Bang Shang-A-Lang” … Continue reading →

Paul So I came here tonight with a list of songs to do, but then I started playing them and it felt weirdo until I got to the one hymn I had on the list So then I set it as “no song under 50 years old” night Charlie Matt and I have both participated with VBS previously This year we are fully signed up with kids We still need some more volunteers (10 more) Even a one day volunteership would be a blessing Wednesday the 11th especially Matt I volunteered and then got asked to be in the skits – I was Chef Pierre So then I could have chilled or do what Katie wanted and wander around in character The kids loved it so much that when I went on break, the kids threw a fit when I wasn’t there to give them snack and put on paper … Continue reading →

Blue Man Group – Segerstrom Center for the Arts (OCPAC), Costa Mesa, CA

AMAZING!!! I’ve been a Blue Man Group fan for years and am very excited that they can now take the amazing artistic/cultural experience that their show is and tour the country! Shake That Thang (at least 90% of the audience stood up which is pretty amazing for Segerstrom Center) Please give us back our balls Gipad multiple blue men to pull off the costume changes for the digi-enhancer bit, but absolutely brilliant! also a very culturally relevant way to do the information bit (the three giant signs where if you’re lucky or insane you can read all the content before the change it) Texting before light suits Toilet paper confetti They gave away all the artwork!!! Well not the human canvas cuz they need that one. but the shirts and hats song, they gave away the painting and the marshmallow tower! set list they definitely started with TV Song Drumbone … Continue reading →

Paul Jon Hebrews 1 1 After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, 2 in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world. 3 The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. 4 Thus he became so far better than the angels as he has inherited a name superior to theirs. 5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my son! Today I have fathered you”? And in another place he says, “I will be his father and he will be my … Continue reading →
